1st vaccine dose: 10-17 April 2015
2nd vaccine dose: 8-16 June 2015
3rd vaccine dose: 5-13 October 2015

The Programme Qualification Criteria (to be met jointly)

  • Girls born in 2002, 2003 and 2004
  • Girls attending primary schools from 8 communes: Goleniów, Nowogard, Osina, Przybiernów, Chojna, Widuchowa, Dobra Szczecińska, Kołbaskowo and the right-bank part of Szczecin

If a given clinic takes part in the project, a girl meeting the qualification criteria makes an appointment with her family doctor. If her clinic is not included in the project, she chooses a clinic located nearest to her primary school.

The girl is examined by her doctor in order to exclude vaccine contraindications. The vaccine is an intramuscular injection given in the arm by a nurse.

Girls are vaccinated in the presence of their parents and they have to provide their certificate of vaccination.

Parents must give a written consent for a child to be vaccinated and confirm the fact of the vaccine being applied.

HPV vaccines are recommended by the Polish Paediatrics Society and the Polish Oncology Union.
